Precision fixation system

Fast, precise clamping with maximum accuracy.

Functionality

The air enters the system through the air connection and pushes the clamping piston downwards. This opens the lever elements that are attached to the clamping piston. The fixture is positioned by the clamping studs. After removing the air supply, the clamping piston is pushed upwards by springs. The lever elements retract the clamping studs and lock them using the toggle lever principle. This way, our system enables fast and precise reclamping with maximum accuracy.

What distinguishes our system from other systems?

Collection system

Our system: Tightening of the clamping studs by lever elements ensures secure fixation. Even with high processing forces, a precise zero point is guaranteed, which is essential for optimal machining.

Other systems: Insufficient locking of the clamping studs, which often leads to a lower stability and precision.

Air-connection

Our system: The simple air connection from above, can be adapted and modified at any time. No need for deep hole drilling.

Other systems: complicated deep hole drilling and tubing through the base plate to each individual module, which makes installation and later modifications more difficult and the system significantly more expensive.

Low overall height

Our system: Compact and space-saving height of only 44 mm, which increases flexibility in your workshop

Other systems: Very high overall height, which limits the available workspace and makes handling more complicated

Hard-machined precision surfaces

Our system: Hardened, coated and reworked precision surface. Ensures the highest accuracy and maximizes the precision and performance of the system.

Other systems: No sufficiently hard and unprocessed precision surface, which leads to lower accuracy.

Attractive design

Our system: Attractive appearance and durability achieved through hardened, coated steel and anodized aluminum

Other systems: Lack of an attractive design and a low focus on optical and material quality

Recommended stitch sizes:
100 mm; 141.421 mm and 200 mm

Why 141.421 mm?

The center-to-center-distance  of 141.421 mm is derived from the geometric properties of a square and its diagonals. If a square has a side length of 100 mm, the diagonal is exactly 141.421 mm. Accordingly, the diagonal of a square with a side length of 141.421 mm is exactly 200 mm.

This specific dimension makes it possible to easily clamp fixtures crosswise on the base plate, even where space is limited. This flexibility is particularly useful in situations where space optimization and versatility are required.

Range

Single fixation module On-Point

  • For modular installation in base plates or clamping towers
  • Pneumatic, can be disconnected from 5 bar (recommendation 6 bar)
  • Simple air connection from above between individual clamping modules

The single fixation modules are for modular installation in base plates or clamping towers. They can be opened pneumatically at a pressure of at least 5 bar. The simple air connection between the individual single fixation modules can be modified and expanded at any time.

clamping stud

  • Self-centring due to optimised design; No need for different clamping studs (fixed, segment or free)
  • Hardened and coated steel with precision-machined surfaces
  • Elastomere cap to avoid impacts on the workbench
  • Can be mounted on fixtures or workpieces using an M10 or M12 thread

The clamping stud features a self-centering design that ensures precise and optimal positioning, eliminating the need to distinguish between fixed, segment and free studs. It is made of hardened and coated steel and has hard-machined precision surfaces that ensure high accuracy. A stud cover protects the work table from damage and minimizes the risk of impact. The clamping stud can be easily mounted on fixtures or workpieces with M10 or M12 threads.

base plates

  • Can be mounted directly on the machine table
  • Can be configured according to customer requirements
  • available as pre-milled or finished

The base plate can be mounted directly on the machine table and offers various customization options. The size of the base plate, the number of single fixation modules required and the center-to-center-distance can be configured exactly according to individual customer requirements. The base plates are available both in a fully finished version and in a pre-milled version. The advantage of the pre-milled version is that the final machining can be carried out in the installed state in the machine, which offers better overall accuracy because the specific machine conditions are taken into account.

Riser

  • Improves accessibility in four and four- and five-axis machining
  • Can also be used as an adapter plate to switch between different center-to-center-distances
  • Bolted precision steel plate to protect the aluminum

The risers can be easily clamped on the base plate by using clamping studs, thereby optimizing accessibility in four- and five-axis machining. Another advantage of the risers is that they can be stacked, enabling them to be used as adapters to switch between different center-to-center-distances for fixtures or workpieces. The bolted-on precision steel plate protects the aluminum underneath, increases accuracy and helps to extend the service life of the riser.

clamping tower

  • For horizontal machining or four- to five-axis machines
  • Can be mounted directly on the machine table
  • Can be configured according to customer requirements
  • available as pre-milled or finished

The clamping tower can be mounted directly on the machine table and is suitable for horizontal machining as well as for four- to five-axis machines. The height and width of the tower, the number of single fixture modules  required and the center-to-center-distance can be configured exactly according to individual customer requirements. The side plates are available in both a fully machined and a pre-milled version. The advantage of the pre-milled version is that the final machining can be carried out in the installed state in the machine, which offers better overall accuracy because the specific machine conditions are taken into account.

Air distributor

  • Can be connected to base plates and risers
  • Easy control of compressed air
  • Open/close and clean/boost function

On one side the air distributor is connected to the machine's main air supply. On the other side, it can be connected to risers, base plates and other air connections. It enables precise control of the compressed air via two shut-off valves. These valves can be used to open and close the single fixture modules and to activate the blow-out air or the boost.
